Atlantic Realty Says “Thank You” to Its Loyal Guests

As the holidays wind down and families start making their plans for summer vacations, we want to offer a special discount to our repeat guests.  It is our way to say “thank you and please come again.”

To do this, we want to offer a 10 percent discount on full-week rentals for repeat guests provided they stay in the same home from a previous trip.  Not all homes participate in this promotion so it is important to make sure there is an icon signifying it is a participating rental in our promotion.  

Summer vacations in the Outer Banks are always filled with fun and lots of things to do.  By offering promotional discounts, we hope to make vacations even better.  Because of this, we have several ways to save on Outer Bank vacations so it is important to visit our website and check out the special promotions.

Taking Time to Give Back

At Atlantic Realty, we are very grateful for our guests who come every year for their OBX Vacations.  We work hard to make sure that they enjoy their time in our paradise so that they look forward to coming back year after year.  Since we are fortunate to reap the rewards that come with working in the tourism industry, it is important for us to take time to give back to the community.   While we participate individually with organizations, Atlantic Realty, as a group, also enjoy contributing time and effort to working with local causes that help our neighbors, the residents of the Outer Banks.  

With the holidays upon us, a program near and dear to our hearts is the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Christmas Drive.  This longstanding and successful program provides 1,300 Angels located at businesses throughout the eight-county area of northeast North Carolina.  Like many other area businesses, we fulfill the wish lists of 12 Angels who need proof that Christmas can be a magic time.  The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Christmas Drive is definitely a worthwhile cause and we are thrilled to be part of it.  

Another campaign which truly affects us is the North Carolina “Big Sweep” which is a huge statewide undertaking to keep the state’s beachesclean.  Locally, we sponsor and volunteer by working with others one day after the summer season ends to clean up Dare County beaches so that they remain as beautiful and pristine as they always havebeen.  Because so many of our OBX Vacation Home are located on the beach, it is very important for us to be part of this massive undertaking and do our part.  Not only do we work hard, we have the opportunity to meet like-minded local people and make new friendshipstoo.

We also take great pride in participatinginthe “Get Pinked” campaign to raise money to ensure that local residents have access to mammograms and other cancer screening procedures that mightnot be performed due to the cost.  In the past, we have held a raffle for a free weekend at one of our OBX vacation homes, sold pink ribbon/bracelets, held bake sales and more.  All proceeds raised through this program stay on the Outer Banks and used bylocal residents.  

Myra Ladd-Bone, Owner and President of Atlantic Realty, is an advocate for helping those in need in our close-knit community.  She believes that “it is important for us to do our part to support local organizations who strive to make the area a great place and provide programs and services to local residents.”
